  1. *The increasing number of KT trainees is reflected by the growing number of trainee awards and opportunities in Canada: e.g., the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) now provides doctoral research awards and new investigator awards focused on KT science and KT Canada holds a Strategic Training Initiative in Health Research grant from CIHR to create an internationally-recognized national training initiative to train graduate and post-doctoral students in KT and KT science.
